September 9th,
Children at the School, Sunday school and in the youth group have regularly been coming to Christ this month so we took a bunch of them from the youth group to the beach for the day to be baptized. I think there is 80 children who regularly attending now. 16 of them were baptized in Christ.
The next day one of the children’s parents came and tried to transfer the child out of our school to the neighboring school. The boy was crying a bit. So thankful that two other parents came into the office and a conversation got started about them putting more of their children and grandchildren into the school. The conversation between the two parents changed the mind of the one boy’s mother. She was a bit embarrassed to then change her mind, but it surely was the best move for her son and her family. We’re praying that God is intervening in the boys life and education. He’s not the greatest child and really needs a lot of help to stay on track. I am hoping to help him see the connection between him coming to Christ and his mom changing her mind. Though he’s a bit naughty now I think God’s going to use him.
Samnang one of our CUTIES at A Greater Hope Orphanage. Always one of my greatest joy is baptizing one of our own.
Very grateful to Tong and Yong who are here helping out, being obedient to what God has for them.
