A Heart for Wisdom School (AHFW) is a Christ-centered educational ministry in Takeo Province, Cambodia, operating under A Greater Hope NGO (AGH), a registered non-governmental organization. Our mission is to change the lives of children by providing practical care and quality education, giving them real hope of breaking the cycle of generational poverty. The impact we have seen over more than a decade of ministry can only be attributed to the grace of God and His compassion for those in need.

AHFW began in 2010 with a single kindergarten class of 6 students and a vision to bring Christ-centered education to children in the Thmey village area. By the start of the 2025 school year, the school had grown to more than 900 students, with 27 classes spanning PreK through Grade 12 and a dedicated team of 60 full-time Khmer teachers and staff. AHFW is fully accredited and licensed by the Cambodian Ministry of Education.

Today, our school continues to grow, and we maintain a waiting list of children hoping to enroll—far more than we currently have capacity to serve.

The Living God Church – Calvary Chapel Takeo is a non-denominational Christian fellowship located on the campus of AHFW. Our church building was completed in early 2025, and we gather for worship each Thursday evening and Sunday morning. More than 80% of our congregation is under the age of 18, with many of them being students from AHFW.

Our mission is to serve the people of Takeo by teaching and demonstrating the love of Christ. We pursue this by faithfully preaching God’s Word, caring for our neighbors, and cultivating genuine fellowship within the body of believers.

Calvary Bible Institute Takeo is a two-year program dedicated to equipping Cambodian believers for Spirit-filled lives and effective ministry. Building on Calvary Chapel’s 50-year legacy, students learn to study the Bible for themselves, communicate its truths with clarity and love, and gain hands-on experience through service at The Living God Church, A Heart for Wisdom School, and local village outreaches.

Alongside biblical training, the college offers a vocational development track to prepare students for real-world opportunities. The first year focuses on ministry foundations with introductory English, computer, and youth ministry classes, while the second year expands into practical vocations such as agriculture, cooking, and construction.

Our heart is to raise up Cambodian men and women who will lead these ministries in the future and help shape the next generation. With Cambodia’s young population and growing spiritual openness, we pray this college becomes a catalyst for lasting transformation across the nation.
