Little update on a couple things

On the last post we mentioned that the 3 girls had lost their mother.  It took a week and a half to finish up on all their funeral stuff and come home.  They’ve got a hold of their land titles and everything seems to have come to a good outcome for the girls.
Pretty sad feeling to feel a lone in the world.  Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers for them.

As for the kids and their 12th grade tests.  We are suppose to find out in a week how they did.

Our 6 kids started working at the school and at the house for the summer.  It’s been a big help already.

The last couple weeks children at our youth groups have been coming to Christ each Sunday.  We are going to have a baptism this Saturday on a one day beach trip.

This morning we had 9 teachers both accept the Lord and recommit their lives to the Lord.

Math teacher SreyLin, History teacher Chendo, 5th grade teacher Chantha, Accountant Van, 2nd grade teacher Norn, Physics teacher Borey, Art teacher Kunthy, Khmer teacher Chanara and an assistant Sokhom.  Some old, some young, some new to the school and some who’ve been around awhile.  All apart of the body of Christ now.  The Sommers family have been quite helpful in teaching the teachers regularly every week.  We hope to plan a baptism for them as well and maybe a little barbecue  as well.

Classrooms are being built as we speak and foundations are going in.  We’re hoping to have the 4 units complete in a week or so.  The one with the foundations going in might be a little longer, maybe October.

We keep sprucing up the snack shops with new items.

We started our fundraiser at $18,000 this year to start this project.  We’ve nearly $10,000 so far, though a majority of the money came in aside from the actual fundraising site.  Very encouraging to us, thank you all.
