Wednesday the 14th we got up and 3 am to head up north to see our children receive their DTS Certificates. We got to, funny enough take Zach with us again this year. He was here with us last year for Tate’s graduation. It really feels like Zach is running the same trip over again. We took Heather with us as well as our 6, 12th grade students from the house, Hua, SreyWut, Tee, Sreyly, SreyOwn and SreyJon so they could see where they are headed and meet some people. It was a super busy, super tiring great time, really glad we went.
So our 2016 high school graduates have completed their YWAM DTS and are back for a short time while they prepare for college.
Yong and Tong trained in Battambang, Cambodia before going to Greece to work at a Syrian Refugee Camp. After the 6 month course Yong feels called to agriculture to better help my father in-law (pastor Khan) and the school. Tong has the desire to take psychology courses which we’re trying to find an biblical family counseling course for him. We’re hoping Tong will apply that skill her in the village with the families we’re connecting with. This will prove quite helpful here.
SreyKeo and SreyPov also trained in Battambang, Cambodia before going to Myanmar to work with refugees there. SreyPov is being called towards administration at the school. We’re guiding her to take human resource and or management courses. So happy shes choosing this direction. Sreykeo wishes to continue on at YWAM for another 6 month bible course and wishes to apply that to ministry.
We met with the YWAM Director and some of the student leadership about a number of things but also about them bring student groups out our way. We’ll see how that work out here in the future.
Very blessed to see God in control of my children’s, the ministry and my families future.

Zach from Hawaii 2nd time around. Our graduates and 12th grade students.
The young lady in the pink panther shirt and classes is Ream’s niece Kimheak. She lives close to YWAM and started attending English class there last year. When we went to Tate’s graduation last year she saw us there as I was white and stood out but she didn’t know us. The next morning when we went to visit Reams Aunt the Kimheak was there and saw us and said she was at the YWAM graduation, she also recognized Tate cause he had the massive Afro. Since then she’s become a Christian and was baptized there at YWAM. She’s become great friends with our kids while they are there. Ream’s been talking to her about coming and working for the school because she speaks English, Khmer and Chines fluently as well as starting to learn Thai and Korean. Problem is even though she’s taller than our kids she’s only in 9th grade 🙁 so we’ve got to wait a long while.
Pizza dinner and night market wonderings before headed back to Takeo at 5 am cause we’ve got an nephew’s wedding to attend that evening.
